A new year, and a time for new beginnings...I'm cleaning out my gallery. Most things dated 2006 or earlier have been deleted or scrapped, and all my old scraps have been deleted.

I don't claim to be an artist by any means; as such, I have no pressure to produce beautiful artwork. When I draw, the pleasure is as much in the process as in the product.

I feel really silly drawing so much anime, especially since I don't watch anime (I've never watched a complete show...or even a complete season...only a few random episodes if they happen to be on American TV) and I rarely read manga (haven't read any since 6th grade, actually). So this year, my resolution is to experiment - to try out new styles and mediums, and to push myself out of my comfort zone.

I think I need a new icon - I've been using the same one ever since I joined! XD And I need a new ID - this one's been in use for quite a while...
